{"id":537,"date":"2021-04-14T18:23:00","date_gmt":"2021-04-14T18:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sydspost.nl\/?p=537"},"modified":"2021-04-14T19:56:56","modified_gmt":"2021-04-14T19:56:56","slug":"nagios","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sydspost.nl\/index.php\/2021\/04\/14\/nagios\/","title":{"rendered":"Nagios"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Voor het monitoren van mijn devices, of ze wel of geen WiFi- of Ethernetverbinding hebben, of de webserver draait, de MQTT messagebroker, Domoticz de MySQL database, maar ook of er papier in de printer zit of de toner niet op dreigt te raken gebruik ik Nagios.<\/p>\n<p>Nagios is een opensourcecomputersysteem en netwerksurveillance-applicatie. Het houdt servers en services in de gaten die men specificeert en stuurt berichten als er dingen stuk gaan en wanneer services of servers die stuk waren weer beter gaan functioneren.<\/p>\n<p>In deze tutorial leg ik uit hoe je Nagios installeert op je Raspberry Pi, en hoe Nagios moet configureren om devices of services te monitoren.<\/p>\n<p>Benodigdheden<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>geen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reeds ge\u00efnstalleerd en up-and-running:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Raspberry Pi (Installatiebibliotheek geupdated met <code>apt-get update<\/code> en <code>apt-get upgrade<\/code>)<\/li>\n<li>Apache2<\/li>\n<li>de volgende pakketten: autoconf, gcc, libc6, make, wget, unzip, php5, libgd2-xpm-dev, indien je deze pakketten nog niet geinstalleerd had, installeer ze met <code>sudo apt-get install -y autoconf gcc libc6 make wget unzip php5 libgd2-xpm-dev<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Stap 1. Installeren Nagios<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Download Nagios Core 4.4.3<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><code>cd \/tmp<\/code><br \/>\n<code>wget -O nagioscore.tar.gz https:\/\/github.com\/NagiosEnterprises\/nagioscore\/archive\/nagios-4.4.3.tar.gz<\/code><br \/>\n<code>tar xzf nagioscore.tar.gz<\/code><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compileer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><code>cd \/tmp\/nagioscore-nagios-4.4.3\/<\/code><br \/>\n<code>.\/configure --with-httpd-conf=\/etc\/apache2\/sites-enabled<\/code><br \/>\n<code>sudo make all<\/code><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maak gebruikers en groepen aan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><code>sudo make install-groups-users<br \/>\n<code>sudo usermod -a -G nagios www-data<\/code><\/code><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Installeer Nagios binaries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><code>sudo make install<br \/>\nsudo make install-daemoninit<br \/>\nsudo make install-commandmode<br \/>\nsudo make install-config<\/code><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Install Apache Config Files<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><code>make install-webconf<br \/>\na2enmod rewrite<br \/>\na2enmod cgi<\/code><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creeer Nagiosadmin account en bedenk een wachtwoord<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><code>htpasswd -c \/usr\/local\/nagios\/etc\/htpasswd.users nagiosadmin<\/code><\/p>\n<p>je wordt gevraagd een password in te voeren, bedenk een password en voer die in (je geheugen ;-))<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Herstart apache en start Nagios<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><code>sudo systemctl restart apache2.service<br \/>\nsudo systemctl start nagios.service<\/code><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nagios is nu opgestart en benaderbaar via <a href=\"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/nagios\">http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/nagios<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Stap 2. Nagios plugins installeren<\/p>\n<p>Op het Nagios forum zijn talloze plugins te vinden, en te downloaden, waarmee je talloze services kunt monitoren. De meest gebruikte plugins zijn in een installeerbare package gebundeld. Installeer deze plugins als volgt:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Download de bibliotheek met plugins<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><code>cd \/tmp<br \/>\nwget --no-check-certificate -O nagios-plugins.tar.gz https:\/\/github.com\/nagios-plugins\/nagios-plugins\/archive\/release-2.2.1.tar.gz<br \/>\ntar zxf nagios-plugins.tar.gz<\/code><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compileer en installeer de plugins<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><code>cd \/tmp\/nagios-plugins-release-2.2.1\/<br \/>\n.\/tools\/setup<br \/>\n.\/configure<br \/>\nmake<br \/>\nmake install<\/code><\/p>\n<p>De geinstalleerde plugins kun je vinden in \/usr\/local\/nagios\/libexec, hier kun je zelf ook plugins aan toe voegen die je overal en nergens op het internet kunt vinden. Let wel goed op de rechten (chmod 755) en user en group.<\/p>\n<p>Stap 3. Configureer Nagios<\/p>\n<p>Je kunt device-soorten, bijvoorbeeld al je Sonoff apparaten, of je laptop en desktop&#8217;s handig bij elkaar houden in seperate configuratie bestanden. Om zo&#8217;n configuratiefile op te nemen in de Nagios configuratie dien je een regel toe te voegen aan de nagios.cfg file, deze configuratiefile is te vinden in \/usr\/local\/nagios\/etc\/nagios.cfg. Voeg de extra configuratiefiles toe onder de regel &#8220;# You can specify individual object config files as shown below:&#8221;, dus als volgt:<\/p>\n<p><code># You can specify individual object
