Het geruchtencircuit gaat snel op de camino, of om het even plat te zeggen, er wordt over me geluld. Ik krijg wel leuke reacties onderweg en alom verbazing als ik vertel dat ik al bijna 2.900 kilometer heb afgelegd en op 16 juni vanaf thuis ben vertrokken.<\/p>\n<p>Vandaag vroeg uit Azofra vertrokken, het is nog donker en de hoofdlamp moet aan. Even buiten Azofra gaat het voor het eerst mis met de markering. Op een driesprong ontbreekt de markering. Op basis van het kaartje uit de ANWB gids slaan we links af. Even verder treffen we een hele kluit pelgrims die net als ons niet zeker zijn over de route. Sandro houdt een auto aan en de bestuurster wijst ons de weg terug naar de route.<\/p>\n<p>In Santo Domingo (Wie kent nog het liedje van de zangeres zonder naam waarin dit stadje bezongen werd ?) drinken we koffie. Ik haal bij de OdT een stempel. Gisteren is de laatste stempel gezet in mijn pelgrimspaspoort die ik vanuit Nederland heb meegenomen. Nu ga ik verder met het pelgrimspaspoort dat ik in Saint Jean heb gekocht. Ik wil proberen om vanaf nu minstens twee stempels per dag te scoren.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear:both;text-align:right;\"><a style=\"clear:right;float:right;margin-bottom:1em;margin-left:1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.sydspost.nl\/wandelen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/wpid-photo-20150912085732185.jpg?ssl=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"blogsy-1442041218496.1501\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.sydspost.nl\/wandelen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/wpid-photo-20150912085732185.jpg?resize=300%2C223&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"223\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Daarna door naar Gra\u00f1\u00f3n waar we op een bankje met een geweldig uitzicht lunchen. De hele morgen was het bewolkt. Na het middaguur breekt de zon door en wordt het snikheet. De route loopt door korenvelden waar het koren al van gedorst is, er is geen schaduw te bekennen. Het valt niet mee om met deze hitte de koele lunchplek te verlaten om de laatste 11km af te leggen.<\/p>\n<p>In Villamayor del Rio lopen we naar de Albergue en schrijven ons in. De overnachting kost maar 5\u20ac en het diner 8\u20ac. Voor die prijs gaan we niet zelf koken, dus we maken het ons vandaag gemakkelijk en schuiven aan bij het diner.
