Visit Roma"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vanmorgen uiteraard vroeg wakker, maar iedereen in huis sliep nog, dus toch nog maar even blijven liggen. Na het ontbijt neemt Sandro me mee naar Rome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daar krijg ik de Japanse rondleiding, alle hoogtepunten van Rome in 4 uur. Maar het absolute hoogtepunt vond ik toch wel de marathon van Rome die om 6:45 gestart was met 15.000 deelnemers. Er hing een heel speciale vibe om dit sportevenement die me heel veel energie gaf. Sandro zag nog een collega van hem over de finish gaan, dus die was helemaal happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In korte tijd heb ik de volgende bezienswaardigheden bekeken:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Piramide<\/li><li>Colosseum<\/li><li>Forum<\/li><li>Arch of Constantine<\/li><li>Monument van Victor Emanuel II<\/li><li>Zuil van Trajanus<\/li><li>Zuil met wolf die Remus en Rommules zoogde<\/li><li>Huis van Burgemeester<\/li><li>Piazza Venezia<\/li><li>Piazza Navona<\/li><li>La Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi<\/li><li>Pantheon<\/li><li>Olifantje van Bernini<\/li><li>Zuil van Marcus Aurelius<\/li><li>Fontaine Treve<\/li><li>Zuil van de onbevlekte ontvangenis<\/li><li>Spaanse trappen<\/li><li>Parlementsgebouw<\/li><li>Eiland in de Tiber<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daarna met de metro en trein terug naar Sandro&#8217;s huis waar Danielle een lekkere lunch heeft klaargemaakt. We keuvelen nog wat en &#8217;s middags komen Danielle haar ouders en zus nog even langs. Dan gaat alles in het Italiaans en snap ik er niets meer van.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ik besluit daarom nog maar even naar Rome af te reizen. Ik had min of meer met Frederike afgesproken om elkaar nog even te ontmoeten en via Whatsapp spreek ik een tijd en plaats af.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Met de bus reis ik naar het eiland in de Tiber en slenter daar wat rond. Bel nog even met Irma en zoek dan Frederike op. Samen nemen we nog een biertje en dan is het alweer tijd om terug te gaan. Wil ook niet te laat bij Sandro aankomen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die is helemaal in zijn nopjes, Itali\u00eb wint de Europese kampioenschappen Volleybal heren, vorige week hebben de dames gewonnen. Vanmiddag heeft een Italiaan de tijdrit in Brugge gewonnen, en de Italiaanse voetbalclub schijnt het ook heel goed te doen. Die Italianen zijn ook niet een beetje chauvinistisch zeg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We spreken of om morgen 7 uur af te reizen naar het vliegveld. Ik ga graag wat eerder gezien mijn ervaringen op Schiphol. Dus 6:15 de wekker gezet. Nog snel de rugzak opnieuw ingepakt en de tent er op vast gezet. Dan morgen de laatste spulletjes erin en kan ik snel vertrekken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex
