Bloedheet. Gelukkig komt er tegen het eind van de middag wat sluierbewolking zodat zo nu en dan de zon wat minder heet is.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In Nogaro negeer ik de zoveelste cathedraal, maar haal wel even een stempel in het OdT. Nogaro is bekend om zijn racecircuit. Van verre hoor ik al het hoge gejank van race auto&#8217;s. Ik hoop dat de route er langs loopt, want ik zou dat wel eens willen zien. Waarschijnlijk zijn ze aan het trainen, want ik kan me niet voorstellen dat er om 9 uur &#8217;s Morgens al wedstrijden zijn. Maar helaas, de route loopt niet langs het circuit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Vanuit Nogaro vervolgt de route zich voor 19 km dwars door de heuvels, zonder noemenswaardige dorpjes aan te doen. De laatste paar km lopen parallel met een oude spoorbaan. Hier is weinig schaduw, dus het is een regelrechte kwelling om hier in de volle zon langs te moeten lopen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dan loop ik Barcelonne-de-Gers binnen, een dorpje op 2 km van Aire-sur-l&#8217;Adour. Hier rust ik even en drink een koude cola uit een automaat. Daarna het laatste stukje.
